- 4 boneless chicken breasts patted dry
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- 5 –6 garlic cloves minced
- ½ cup chicken stock or vegetable broth
- ⅓ cup garlic sauce or honey garlic/creamy garlic
- 1½ cups steamed broccoli optional
Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and dust with cornstarch.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and juices run clear.
Remove chicken. Lower heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add chicken stock and garlic sauce, stirring up browned bits. Simmer for 5 minutes.
