Southern Sweet Tea Company New Flavors: Now 13 Total

Southern Sweet Tea Company has expanded its real-brewed iced tea lineup to 13 flavors, adding five new SKUs — Blueberry, Orange, Blackberry, Hibiscus, and Half & Half — to its existing core range. The Southern Sweet Tea Company new flavors rollout, announced August 28, 2026, is aimed at expanding the Sarasota, Florida-based brand’s presence in the clean-label beverage category through major grocery chains.

The Southern Sweet Tea Company New Flavors, Explained

In a press release distributed August 28, 2026 at 1:58 p.m. ET, Southern Sweet Tea Company confirmed it is adding five new flavors — Blueberry, Orange, Blackberry, Hibiscus, and Half & Half — to its existing core lineup of Classic Sweet, Unsweetened, Lemon, Peach, Strawberry, Mango, Raspberry, and Watermelon. That brings the brand’s real-brewed bottled tea portfolio to 13 total flavors.

“Today’s beverage buyers and consumers are demanding real ingredients without compromising on authentic heritage flavor. Expanding our bottled lineup to 13 flavors represents a major milestone in our retail scaling strategy,” said Laura Jean Eagles, Founder and CEO of Southern Sweet Tea Company, in the announcement.

The tea is brewed from real black tea and pure cane sugar, sold in 16-ounce recyclable bottles in 12-pack cartons, and produced with a hot-fill process the company says gives it a two-year shelf life without high-fructose corn syrup or artificial additives. The release describes distribution through “established distribution networks” and “major grocery chains,” without naming specific retail partners for the new flavors.

Is This Common?

Flavor-line expansions like this one are a routine growth move in the clean-label iced tea category, where brands compete on ingredient transparency (no HFCS, no artificial additives) rather than novelty. Southern Sweet Tea Company has grown its bottled lineup gradually since launch; going from 8 to 13 flavors in one announcement is a larger-than-usual jump, but the underlying strategy — more flavor options to win shelf space at grocery chains — is standard practice across the real-brewed tea segment.
