Lorissa’s Organic Meat Sticks are now available at select Target stores and on Target.com, in Original Beef, Jalapeño Beef, and Savory Herb Turkey. The brand says they’re the only meat sticks on the market that are both USDA Organic certified and independently verified Top 9 Allergen-Free.
What Are Lorissa’s Organic Meat Sticks?
According to the official press release from Link Snacks (the parent company behind Jack Link’s), the sticks are made with organic grass-fed and finished beef or organic poultry, naturally fermented without encapsulated lactic acid, and contain zero added sugar across all three varieties.
- Original Beef and Jalapeño Beef: 10g protein, 110 calories per stick
- Savory Herb Turkey: 12g protein, 80 calories per stick
- Sold in five-count multipacks of individually wrapped 1.15-ounce sticks
- Available now in the jerky aisle at select Target stores and on Target.com
“As a mom whose son has severe food allergies, I know how much trust goes into choosing a snack,” said Lorissa Link, founder of Lorissa’s Organic Snacks, in the release. “That’s why we believe in providing consumers with proof, not just promises, through our certified organic ingredients and independent third-party allergen certification.”
The brand joins other allergen-conscious snack launches on shelves this year, including Tiff’s Treats’ gluten-friendly cookie and Ripple Foods’ toddler milk.
Is This Common?
USDA Organic certification is increasingly common in the meat snack aisle, but pairing it with independent Top 9 Allergen-Free certification is a narrower, more specific claim — most jerky and meat stick brands carry one certification or the other, not both verified together. That dual claim is the main differentiator the brand is leaning on for this Target rollout.
